About Steadbrook

Steadbrook is one screen. A peaceful scene, a sound bed, and a timer in the middle. Everything else is tucked into the edges, and the moment your mouse leaves the window it all dims away so you are left with the scene and the clock.

The sound is recorded from real places and plays without a seam: a forest brook, ocean waves, rain, or a coffee shop. Six scenes set the view behind the clock.

The timer has four shapes: counting up with no end, counting down, alternating intervals, and pomodoro. It starts by counting up, because for most people the hard part is starting rather than stopping.

There is no account and nothing to sign up for. Your scene, sound and timer are remembered in this browser.
