adidas
adidas was founded in 1924 by the Dassler brothers under the name “Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory.” After a dispute in 1949 between the two, Rudolf Dassler left to create Puma while Adolf Dassler turned the shoe factory into Adidas. Today, adidas is recognized internationally for its trademark 3-Stripes found on numerous products in their vast catologue, ranging from sneakers, accessories, apparel, sports equipment, and more. In recent years, Adidas has positioned itself in the intersection of fashion, function, and creativity. Working with innovative collaborators such as legendary fashion designers like Raf Simons, Rick Owens, and Yohji Yamamoto, as well as musicians such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams.
